TNMU Faculty Member Wins “Best Doctor – Model of the Profession” Award at the Order of Saint Panteleimon Ceremony
The 10th Anniversary Order of Saint Panteleimon Award Ceremony took place in Kyiv on July 27, 2026. This year’s event became a powerful symbol of unity, resilience, and compassion, bringing together distinguished military and civilian physicians, healthcare teams, nurses, volunteers, philanthropists, and international delegations from across Ukraine and abroad.

The awards recognized outstanding achievements in seven categories celebrating excellence in Ukrainian healthcare:
Hero of the Medical Front
Best Doctor – Model of the Profession
Heart of Medicine
Exemplary Service to Society
Innovator of the Year
Stronghold of Health
Support on the Lifeline

The award in the “Best Doctor – Model of the Profession” category was presented to Volodymyr Moroz, a cardiovascular surgeon, Head of the Department of Cardiac Surgery and Transplantology at the Ternopil Regional Clinical Hospital, and Assistant Professor of the Department of Surgery No. 2 at I. Horbachevsky Ternopil National Medical University.

In addition, Roman Sribnyi, a paramedic with a rifle battalion medical unit representing the Ternopil region, was honored in the “Hero of the Medical Front” category.
