TNMU Student Took Part in the International “Science and Sail” Summer School in Lithuania
From August 2 to 9, 2026, Daryna Romaniv, a third-year student of the Faculty of Medicine at I. Horbachevsky Ternopil National Medical University, took part in the international “Science and Sail 2026” Summer School, organised with the support of The Baltic University Programme (BUP) and hosted by Klaipėda University, Lithuania.

The programme brought together active students and young researchers from higher education institutions in the Baltic Sea Region, including Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia, Sweden, Finland, Ukraine, Poland, Germany, the Czech Republic, and Slovakia. The participants explored the environmental state of the Baltic Sea, the impact of climate change on the environment and human health, and ways of implementing the principles of sustainable development.

Participation in the BUP international programme provided an excellent opportunity not only to broaden scientific horizons and gain unique practical experience, but also to represent I. Horbachevsky Ternopil National Medical University internationally, establish contacts with colleagues from other countries, and lay the groundwork for future scientific collaboration.
