TNMU Holds Ceremonial Matriculation for Students of Therapy and Rehabilitation, Clinical Psychology, Nutrition, Biology, and Applied Linguistics
On August 31, 2025, the Medical Faculty of I. Horbachevsky Ternopil National Medical University solemnly welcomed new students of the specialties “Therapy and Rehabilitation,” “Clinical Psychology,” “Nutrition,” “Biology,” and “Applied Linguistics.”
The ceremony began with a minute of silence to honor the memory of the heroes who gave their lives for Ukraine’s independence.

Each of these specialties responds to contemporary challenges and requires a high level of dedication. Physical rehabilitation and clinical psychology are critically important today for restoring the physical and mental health of Ukrainians. Nutrition promotes a culture of health and disease prevention, biology provides a fundamental scientific foundation, while applied linguistics facilitates high-quality international communication, the use of medical terminology, and translation in the field of healthcare.

Svitlana Kucher, Dean of the Medical Faculty, addressed the students with words of welcome and sincere wishes:
“You have chosen fields that are at the forefront of modern science and human care. May your years of study at TNMU be a time of discovery, and may the knowledge you acquire help you build a healthy and strong future for our country.”

The solemn TNMU Student Oath was administered by Ihor Drach, Associate Professor and Deputy Dean of the Medical Faculty.
The young people expressed their readiness to study diligently, respect their chosen profession, and take responsibility for their future professional service to society.
