On 2–4 September 2026, the 16th International Conference on “Advanced Computer Information Technologies” (ACIT’2026) was held in Zlín, Czech Republic.

I. Horbachevsky Ternopil National Medical University was represented at the conference by Professor Dariia Popovych, Head of the Department of Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy and Physical Education.

The scientific forum on advanced computer and information technologies brought together scientists, researchers, IT and emerging computer technology professionals, academic staff and students from leading higher education institutions, as well as business representatives from different countries around the world. The participants presented their research, scientific achievements and developments.

The conference featured research findings presented at ACIT’2026 in two volumes, including research by TNMU, as well as an oral presentation.

Six thematic sections were held during the conference, focusing on artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, mathematical modelling, information systems, the digital economy, and IT technologies in education.

This year’s conference demonstrated the extensive international interest in the event, bringing together 650 scientific papers and more than 1,500 authors from 65 countries and over 320 universities and research institutions. Following a double-blind peer-review process, 305 papers were selected for presentation and inclusion in the conference proceedings.

The organisers of ACIT’2026 were the IEEE Czechoslovakia Section, West Ukrainian National University, and Tomas Bata University in Zlín, with the support of European universities and partner organisations.

An international conference of this scale created valuable opportunities for professional dialogue among experts while also serving as an important component of the development of international scientific partnerships, academic cooperation, and the representation of Ukrainian science in the global research community.
