TNMU Students Provided Medical Support at the Podillia-Volyn Sich Military-Patriotic Camp
TNMU students who are members of the University-wide volunteer movement Misericordia, as well as volunteers of the NGO Desantno-Kozatskyi Rii, have been spending their summers with children at the Podillia-Volyn Sich Military-Patriotic Camp for the fifth consecutive year.

This summer, during six camp sessions held from 14 June to 30 August, our students—Lidiia Kocherha, Yelyzaveta Miakhkota, Diana Kindratenko, and Anastasiia Hevko—provided the necessary medical care to children and camp staff, organized informative training sessions on the basics of first aid, and taught participants how to control life-threatening bleeding. They were also responsible for monitoring the children’s well-being, accompanied them on excursions and trips, took part in the physical training of young people, and helped organize quests and physical activities.

Throughout the summer, approximately 500 children took part in the military-patriotic camp. By helping and observing a new, wonderful, and young generation of Ukrainians, the medical students gained invaluable practical experience in providing medical care in field conditions and received many positive impressions.
Volodymyr Moseiko, Head of the NGO Desantno-Kozatskyi Rii and a General-Khorunzhyi, highly praised the students’ excellent professional training and active civic engagement.

He also expressed his gratitude to Taras Kadobnyi, Head of the University-wide volunteer movement Misericordia and Associate Professor of the Department of Higher Education Pedagogy and Social Sciences, for his assistance and support in organizing medical support at the Podillia-Volyn Sich Military-Patriotic Camp.
