TNMU Holds a Regular Meeting of the Academic Council
A regular meeting of the Academic Council of Ternopil National Medical University was held on 29 September 2026, chaired by Professor Mykhailo Korda.

Before the meeting, in a solemn ceremony, TNMU Rector Petro Lykhatskyi presented the Serhii Konoval Hero of Ukraine Named Scholarship to students:

- Yaroslav Bilyk;
- Maksym Klemyshyn.

- The Rector also presented gifts from the National Agency on Corruption Prevention (NACP) and the NGO Anti-Corruption Headquarters, supported by the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP Ukraine) and funded by the Government of Denmark.
- The gifts were presented to students who became finalists of the interactive Integrity Debate event, as well as to members of the working group who represented the University in the pilot project “Anti-Corruption and Integrity: Transforming the Higher Education Environment.” TNMU is a participant in this project, which focuses on implementing methodological recommendations on integrity and transparency in higher education institutions.
- The following students received awards for second place as members of the “Reanimation of Conscience” team:
- Anastasiia Lutska;
- Taisiia Hrytsiuk;
- Veronika Bulka;
- Kateryna Kodes.




The first-place award went to the “Stop Habar Squad” team:
- Maksym Tsyts;
- Olha Hrodzik;
- Veronika Kostiuk;
- Polina Novakova.




Awards were also presented to members of the working group who represented the University in the above-mentioned pilot project:
- Hryhorii Zahrychuk;
- Oleksandr Mihenko;
- Sofiia Berehuliak;
- Viktoriia Miroshnyk;
- Iryna Molen.





Myroslav Kritsak received a Doctor of Medical Sciences diploma.
- Certificates confirming the academic title of Associate Professor were presented to:
- Oksana Prokopchuk;
- Iryna Yavorska.


Artem Slepichko received a Doctor of Philosophy diploma.

Letters of appreciation from the Ministry of Health of Ukraine were presented to:
- Mariia Shanaida;
- Hryhorii Zahrychuk;
- Svitlana Shkrobot.



The first scheduled item on the agenda concerned academic appointments. Information about candidates for academic titles was presented by Academic Secretary Professor Illia Herasymiuk.

Following a secret ballot, the academic title of Associate Professor was conferred on:
- Anatolii Televiak, Department of Human Anatomy;
- Nataliia Stets, Department of Operative Surgery and Clinical Anatomy;
- Mariana Horyn, Department of Pharmaceutical Chemistry;
- Uliana Hevko, Department of Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy and Physical Education.




The preparation for the accreditation of educational and professional programmes was presented by the programme guarantors:
- Associate Professor Anastasiia Bai — Bachelor’s degree programme in Physical Therapy;
- Professor Olena Venher — Master’s degree programme in Clinical Psychology.


A report on the organization of the University Library’s work and the provision of the University with educational and academic literature was delivered by Olena Protsiv, Director of the University Library.
