TNMU students and veterans took part in the “What? Where? When?” game
On October 15, 2026, the event “United by Cooperation, Knowledge, and Respect for Veterans” took place in the form of the intellectual game “What? Where? When?” at Ternopil Regional Hospital. This initiative was implemented as part of the cooperation between the “Veteran Space” and Ternopil National Medical University. It brought together student youth, veterans, medical workers, and support specialists.

The event was attended by students of the curatorial group MM-515 together with their mentor, Associate Professor of the Department of Pharmacology with Clinical Pharmacology Khrystyna Mocherniuk.

The organization and conduct of the game were supported by support specialists for veterans and demobilized persons of the Communal Institution of Ternopil Regional Council “Veteran Space” Tetiana Khichii, Nataliia Hryhorenko, and Mykhailo Ivanenko, head of the rehabilitation department of Ternopil Regional Hospital Nataliia Bryksa, as well as the medical staff of the institution.

The game became a wonderful occasion for communication, exchange of opinions, development of team interaction, and strengthening of mutual understanding between generations. The participants had the opportunity to demonstrate their erudition, quick-wittedness, logical thinking, and ability to work in a team.

It is especially important that such meetings help foster respect for veterans and servicemen among student youth, and help them better understand their experience, needs, and the challenges they face during treatment and rehabilitation.
Joint events in the medical environment are an important step toward creating a space of support, trust, and humanity, where everyone feels needed and heard.
