The Academic Council of TNMU Held a Regular Meeting

On October 27, 2026, the Academic Council of TNMU held a regular meeting chaired by Professor Mykhailo Korda.

The first item on the agenda concerned competitive appointments. Information about the candidates for appointment to positions and the conferral of academic titles was presented by the academic secretary, Professor Illia Herasymiuk.

Based on the results of a secret ballot, Iryna Halabitska was elected to the position of Professor at the Department of Therapy and Family Medicine,

and Tetiana Kovalchuk was elected to the position of Professor at the Department of Pediatrics No. 2.

The academic title of Professor at the Department of Surgery of the Faculty of Postgraduate Education was conferred on Myroslav Kritsak.

The academic title of Associate Professor at the Department of Anesthesiology and Intensive Care was conferred on Oleksandr Yakymchuk.

The item “Discussion and approval of the plan for training scientific and pedagogical staff and the reserve for department head positions. Work with faculty members without an academic degree” was presented by the Vice-Rector for Research, Professor Oleksandra Oleshchuk.

“On the work of the Simulation Training Center” was presented by the Center’s director, Antonina Chervatiuk.

Information on the work of the Center for Educational Work and Cultural Development was presented by its director, Associate Professor Marta Rudenko.

On the preparation for the accreditation of the “Healthcare Management” educational program, a report was given by the program’s guarantor, Associate Professor Liudmyla Trushchenkova.
