Canada’s Mitacs Globalink Research Internship Program for Ukraine opens scholarships opportunities for Ukrainian students

Mitacs Globalink Research Internship Program is an international initiative for students from Australia, Brazil, China, France, India, Germany, Mexico, Saudi Arabia, Tunisia and Ukraine for research internships in Canada. From May to September each year, participants who have been selected take part in a 12-week research internship under the guidance of Canadian university teachers from various academic disciplines.

Canadian scientists from more than 60 universities have offered student internship projects, including medical, pharmaceutical, nursing and biological subjects:

The program is funded as follows: 60% of the Government of Canada and 40% of Ukrainian organizations. The scholarship suggested is about $ 15,000 covering almost all three months of travel and stay in Canada. The period is from May 1 to October 1, but only three months (12 weeks).

To participate in the Globalink Research Internship program, students submit the following documents:

Online application for the program.

CV describing scientific interests (template will be available after registration).

Letter of recommendation from a professor or supervisor describing research experience and scientific interests (instruction will be available after registration).

Graduate report (confirmation of a grade point average above 80%).

No English or French exams required. Level of proficiency is determined by a Canadian professor during a Skype interview.
