Charitable Aid for TNMU Centre for Medical Simulation from German Volunteers

At the beginning of the new year 2024, Ternopil National Medical University was visited by a team of anaesthesiologists from Germany, including Dr. Martin Schott and Dr. Dirk Hahne from Hanover, as well as Dr. Henryk Pich from Augsburg, volunteers Dominic Jefferson, George Jantschi and Karina Drozd. They are volunteers and collect donations to help Ukrainians on behalf of the Medizinische Hilfe für die Ukraine fund.

During Christmas, the team of these philanthropists gave Laerdal Mama Natalie and Neo Natalie training mannequins to the TNMU Centre for Medical Simulation as a gift.

This time, German volunteers arrived with a Laerdal paediatric trauma training module, a bronchoscopy monitor and Ambu bronchoscopes and walkers, which were transferred to the TNMU Centre for Medical Simulation. This equipment will be used for educational purposes in order to improve the practical skills of the students of our university.

Dr. Martin Schott also noted that their team plans to continue helping TNMU and promoting the development of the Simulation Centre.
