Charitable and Educational Events of the TNMU Volunteer Movement MISERICORDIA

On Easter holidays, volunteers of MISERICORDIA and the local history studio “Terpolyany” held some charitable and educational events.

On April 30, 2021, student volunteers visited the wards of the training and rehabilitation centre on 6, Brativ Boichukiv Street with Easter gifts. Volunteers congratulated the children on Easter, wished them health, joy, peace, and their cherished dreams come true. This time the students could communicate and spend time with the children. At the end of the meeting, each child received an Easter gift.

Now, visit by the volunteers to the home of Ihor Baranyshyn, a graduate of the training and rehabilitation centre, is a good tradition. During the meeting, the students talked to Ihor, supported him, congratulated him on the holidays and presented him an Easter basket and his favourite books.

Temrii Kateryna, Pelyp Oksana and Khrystyna, Nadkevych Anastasia, Maikhruk Khrystyna and Ihor, Sydorchuk Diana, Struk Marta, Rybenchuk Marta, Opera Tetiana, Buchko Andriana, Sorokivskyi Ilia, Chaika Yana, Saturskyi Ostap, Vankevych Stepan, Vakhnovska Viktoria, Khmil Dmytro, Heriak Valentyna and Jerry Nii Alemonaj, a representative of the International Students Faculty, joined the event.

On April 30, 2nd year medical students Nadkevych Anastasia, Khmil Dmytro and Heriak Valentyna delivered a lecture on “Healthy food and diseases caused by poor nutrition” at Ternopil Secondary School – Law Lyceum No.2. Pupils and teachers asked questions to students and watched an educational video.

Vakhnovska Viktoria, a student of the Faculty of mMdicine, visited Konopkivka Secondary School, the branch Mykulyntsi Secondary School, as part of educational work. She presented a class on “Healthy lifestyle”. The children were very interested in the topic; they were very active in the discussion and asked many questions.

The further events will be aimed at supporting single people and the elderly. So, we welcome everyone to join them.
