Prior to handing matriculation certificates to the representatives of each department, MUL Rector Professor Andrzej Drop gave a report on the events and activities of previous academic year.

Ternopil State Medical University delegation had the opportunity to learn more about the work of Polish colleagues, university logistics, its laboratories, clinical facilities and simulation training center.

“We had a tour of a modern and well-equipped Chemistry Building that was constructed and furnished with participation of the European Union. In fact, each academic department there has its own division of chemistry, and therefore operates a research laboratory. We also learned about work of simulation training center, also created using EU funds. MUL also quite actively develops its emergency air division, which is interesting for us as a potential direction for collaboration”, – said Stepan Zaporozhan.

The Rector of Ternopil State Medical University, Professor Mykhaylo Korda and Vice-Rector for Research, Academic, and Clinical affairs, Professor Stepan Zaporozhan discussed areas of cooperation with the Rector of Medical University of Lublin, Professor Andrzej Drop, its Vice-Rector for Scientific Affairs, Professor Dariusz Matosiuk, Vice-Rector for International Relations and Postgraduate Education professor Hanna Trębacz and Coordinator of international cooperation Izabela Witkowska.

Another direction for cooperation is participation in cross-border programs”, – said Stepan Zaporozhan.
