First in the TNMU History General University Tournament on Mobile Phones

On December 21, 2021, the students of TNMU Kondratyshyn Andrii Romanovych (group MM-412) and Nevidomskyi Vadym Petrovych (group MM-407) held a general university tournament on PUBG Mobile.

The aim of the project was to help students make new acquaintances among their peers and have fun on vacation. During the COVID-19 pandemic, the choice of leisure is not significant. Thus, online events are preferred and e-sports comes to the fore. In education institutions, very little attention is paid to this sport contrary to the world trends. The 4th year students decided to contribute to solving this problem. One of the most popular games among students is PUBG Mobile. The essence of the game is to accumulate resources, develop speed of reaction, plan the right strategy and survive in a destructive environment.

The tournament was divided into two parts. In the first match, the ability of players to play in solitary mode was assessed, and in the second – the skills of team working of 4 people. The winner of the first part of the game was a student of our university Vaghani Jeni (group IM-141) under the nickname PROFESSORx7. The best game in the team was shown by GENESIS, which included students from different medical universities of Ukraine: Gourav Saini (Ternopil National Medical University, group IM-326), Aman Chauhan (Kharkiv National Medical University, the 4th year of study), Vats (Ivano-Frankivsk National Medical University, the 4th year of study), Akash Parida (Kiev National Medical University, the 4th year of study).

The participants of the tournament had a lot of positive impressions, expressed thanks to the organizers for holding such an event and look forward to similar competitions on online platforms.
