Ukrainian citizenship and residence in Ukraine at the time of the contest remains one of the important conditions for participation in the Program. However, given that many potential candidates are currently not in Ukraine, the Fulbright Program Office in 2022 will accept applications from applicants who are in Ukraine, as well as those citizens of Ukraine who were forced to leave the country due to the war after February 24 .

In September and October, the Fulbright Program Office, together with scholars of the Fulbright Research and Development Program (FRDP), will conduct consultations for potential contestants. Meetings will be held on Thursdays: September 22, 29 and October 6, 20, 27.

During the meetings, it will be possible to learn about the conditions of participation in the competition for obtaining Fulbright scholarships for conducting research in universities, research centers and cultural institutions of the USA, requirements for applicants, processing of documents and the course of competitive selection.

Presentations will take place on the ZOOM platform. Registered participants will receive details of participation to the e-mail address specified in the registration form one hour before the start of the meeting.
