Humanitarian Aid from Elected Officials

On July 21, 2022, People’s Deputy of Ukraine Ivan Kalaur brought 120 metres of fabric to the Volunteer Centre of I. Horbachevsky Ternopil National Medical University to manufacture individual first-aid kits and military tactical stretchers, as well as tourniquets. The fabric will be sent to the sewing shop, where the overalls and stretchers will be made. TNMU volunteers will provide the first aid kits with everything necessary.

The administration and staff of I. Horbachevsky Ternopil National Medical University express their deepest appreciation to People’s Deputy of Ukraine Ivan Kalaur.

P.S.: All tourniquets that are received by TNMU Volunteer Centre from the supporters are checked for their effectiveness using an ultrasound machine. Individual first-aid kits are equipped with tourniquets that have been tested and meet all the requirements for stopping bleeding.
