International students of Ternopil State Medical University organized a charity event

On July 18-27 Ternopil State Medical University international students and members of the civic group  «Medicare and Social Welfare Initiative» (MEDCASOWI), held a charity event at the Novus mall. Every day from 10.00 to 15.00 they took blood pressure and measured blood glucose level for all interested passer-by. This initiative attracted considerable admiration from Ternopil residents who were happy to stop by at the medical station to check their health signs.

MEDCASOWI group had been started by the students of Ternopil State Medical University, and for some time now has been working on joint projects with the Caritas charity foundation and Petrykivka Home for the Elderly. This time participants in the charity event were Brian Aryeequaye Addy, dr. Ndjeng Ntyene Asther, Abonome Thereza Ngozi, Christel Ayangba, Isaac Papa Bray, Onu Chioma, Etalohg Margarret, Mbaeri Shirley, Aneke Stephanie Ezinne, Anen Beverly, and Gertrude Boakye.
