Medico-Legal Clinic Was Established in TSMU

A cooperation agreement between TNEU and TSMU on creation of Medico-Legal Clinic was concluded. Human rights protection, preservation and enforcement in health care can be accomplished by medical and law universities students coordination.

The clinic is created to develop practical skills of the students of medical and law faculties, to provide the indigent with legal support on human rights in health care, to develop legal culture and awareness in students of medical university. This partnership should provide mutual support of the students due to a multidisciplinary approach, events on legal education in health care, sharing experiences between the students of medical and law schools.

The Department of Medical Law is looking to cooperate with all students of medical university within this agreement.

There is also an opportunity for TSMU teachers and employees to receive the degree in Law, specialist, in 2016-2017 academic year at the Faculty of Law of TNEU, 46 state funded scholarships or through private funding. Part-time or evening form of studies.
