Pharmacy Students of TNMU Learned about Professional Development Opportunities

On January 30, 2024, Tetiana Tkachuk, a recruitment specialist of the Servier company, met with fourth- and fifth-year students of the Faculty of Pharmacy of TNMU to tell them about their future prospects for professional development in the field of pharmacy, and to familiarize them with the activities of the Servier company.

“We have a large online project for students that will be launched in March 2024. We want to give young people the opportunity to communicate with our experts and gain practical skills that they will need in their professional life. The university provides future specialists with thorough theoretical knowledge, so that this knowledge can be transformed into practice, for our part, we want to help make this transition comfortable and professional. Our task is to help students acquire the necessary flexible skills that they will later need in their professional life. This will help them build a career and develop,” Tetiana Tkachuk explained the purpose of her visit.

During the meeting with TNMU students, she spoke in detail about each profession in their company, the professional duties of various positions or types of activity. Future pharmacists in the interactive application could immediately answer questions, as well as discuss with the guest and get more information.

Mrs. Tetiana began her story about professions with a video in which the Servier company staff shared their work experience and professional development. Many of them were recent graduates, so it was possible to hear how they planned their future for themselves, what they thought about what additional skills they acquired in order to implement their plans in the particular profession.

“We work all over Ukraine. There are also our medical workers in Ternopil – graduates of your university. Accordingly, everyone has the opportunity to become our employee. We are happy to hire graduates and consider their applications even if they have no work experience. We train from the first days when new employees come to us. By the way, we have a four-week training for new employees, where we teach them all the secrets of the work. A new employee studies all the research, the evidence base, how to communicate with pharmacy representatives, the doctor,” Tetiana Tkachuk concluded.
