Presentation of the Manual at TNMU

Teachers of the Department of the Ukrainian Language of I. Horbachevsky Ternopil National Medical University presented a new manual “Professional medical communication of a doctor with a patient in Ukrainian” for international students.

The manual was developed by the Head of the Department of the Ukrainian Language, Professor Anatolii Vykhrushch, Associate Professor Ihor Drach, Associate Professor Iryna Zalipska, Associate Professor Valentyna Zevako, Associate Professor Tetiana Melnyk, Lecturer Oksana Mysyk, Associate Professor Oksana Novitska, Lecturer Nadiia Oliinyk, Associate Professor Kateryna Stefanyshyn, Associate Professor Mariia Tyshkovets, Associate Professor Liudmila Sheremeta.

Educational materials are the basis of the professional language of physicians with the prospect of their further use in professional practice, continue to develop language competence, communication skills of future professionals.

Tasks selected on the basis of the main types of speech activity would help international students not only to expand their vocabulary, but also to achieve social interaction in a foreign language environment, to learn the rules of communication in the professional area.
