Scholarship Programs of the Government of the Republic of Latvia for Ukrainian Students and Scientists

We are pleased to offer scholarships for students, academic and research staff of higher education institutions for studies in Latvian universities during the academic year 2024/2025 as well as for participation in summer schools organized by Latvian universities.

The call for applications for the Latvian state studies’ scholarships for the academic year 2024/2025 will be open from 1 February 2024 until 1 April 2024. All relevant information is published on the website of the State Education Development Agency https://www.viaa.gov.lv/en/latvian-state-scholarships. The Application form and the necessary documents for studies’ scholarships for the academic year 2024/2025 shall be submitted to the State Education Development Agency via an on-line application system, which will be open on 1 February 2024. The application deadline for the Latvian state scholarships for studies is 1 April 2024.

The call for applications for the Latvian state summer school scholarships for the summer 2024 will be open on 1 February 2024. Information on summer schools, where foreign students, academic and research staff can participate with the Latvian state scholarship, will be published by the 1 February 2024 on the website of the State Education Development Agency https://www.viaa.gov.lv/en/summer-schools. Applications and necessary documents for the summer schools shall be sent directly to the organizers of the summer schools – the Latvian universities – whose representatives will inform all the applicants about the results of the scholarship competition. The application deadline for the Latvian state scholarship for summer schools is 1 April 2024.
