On March 12, 2024, 11th-grade students of Ternopil Specialized School No. 7 with advanced study of foreign languages visited TNMU. They were accompanied by Liudmyla Bereza, a teacher of the Ukrainian language and literature.

The students talked with Vice-Rector for Science and Education, Professor Arkadii Shuhai, who told them about the university’s achievements and the university’s position in international and all-Ukrainian rankings, spoke about the specifics of the organization of the educational process, and pointed out the possibilities of personal development of the students in the educational, scientific and leisure areas.

On this day, our young guests were warmly welcomed by the teachers of three departments of the Institute of Morphology – Human Anatomy, Histology and Embryology, Pathological Anatomy, Autopsy Course and Forensic Pathology.

Eleventh-grade students attended practical classes conducted with the use of the latest technologies by Professor Illia Herasymiuk and Associate Professor Iryna Hetmaniuk. Lectures were supplemented by excursions to the museum of the Department of Human Anatomy (Professor Illia Herasymiuk) and the Department of Pathological Anatomy, Autopsy Course and Forensic Pathology (Professor Valentyn Franchuk and Associate Professor Volodymyr Voloshyn).

Schoolchildren carefully listened to the story of the Head of the Department of Histology and Embryology, Professor Zoia Nebesna, about the history of the creation of the morphological laboratory and the specifics of histological research.
