St. Nicholas Day for Patients of the Children’s Psychiatric Ward

On December 6, 2023, the traditional St. Nicholas Day event was held at Ternopil Regional Clinical Psychoneurological Hospital. Teachers and interns of the Department of Psychiatry, Narcology and Medical Psychology of I. Horbachevsky Ternopil National Medical University organized a festive concert for patients of the children’s psychiatric ward. The entertainment program consisted of many contests and games.

The children also had the opportunity to sing New Year’s songs, recite poems and dance with St. Nicholas. At the end of the event, all children received long-awaited gifts and goodies.

In such a difficult time, it is the duty of every adult to support the mental health of our children. And therefore, on this festive day, a cosy atmosphere of a holiday and a winter fairy tale was created. Each of them received positive emotions and impressions, which are extremely necessary for rehabilitation and improvement of the psychological state.
