For four weeks (06.06 – 01.07.2016) our students had the opportunity to work in the departments of surgical gynecology, cardiology and cardiac surgery, anesthesiology and intensive care, ophthalmology, neonatology, maxillofacial surgery, otorhinolaryngology, transplantation, pediatric surgery and nephrology with hemodialysis.

Future doctors enjoyed the hospitality and professionalism of Polish doctors.  They also were impressed by the modern equipment of Polish hospitals and outstanding new military hospital. Here Ternopil State Medical University students became acquainted with intensive care, including how to provide assistance during pulmonary edema, closed cranio-cerebral trauma, and uncompensated type I diabetes. They also examined patients after heart surgery, were present during coronary bypass and vascular prosthetic mitral valve surgeries, observed coronary angiography.
