TSMU regrets the untimely passing of Professor Joseph Berger, Rector of the Pope John Paul II State School of Higher Education in Biala Podlaska

Administration and staff of Ternopil State Medical University are deeply saddened on the news of the untimely passing of Professor Joseph Berger. We had an honor to know Professor Berger, Rector of the Pope John Paul II State School of Higher Education in Biala Podlaska (Poland), as a true friend and reliable partner of TSMU and its Honorary Professor.

We bow our heads in grief together with the family, friends and colleagues of Professor Berger. Please accept our heartfelt sympathies on the loss of your loved one. He will be truly missed.

In this sad time, all those who had known and worked with Professor Berger cherish the memories of Professor Berger warmth, goodwill, and many gifts. He was a dedicated teacher, talented leader and politician. May these fond memories bring his loved ones comfort during this hard time.
