Teaching Staff of TNMU Department of Foreign Languages Actively Participates in Volunteering

Ukrainian defenders battle exhaustion as war drags into winter season. That is why the staff of TNMU Department of Foreign Languages once again provides assistance to the soldiers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Throughout January, the teachers of the department actively participated in the preparation of warming drinks made of honey and ginger and baking gingerbread for the soldiers of the 105th separate brigade of territorial defence of Ukraine.

Nuts, sweets and dried fruits were purchased and handed over to them.

Due to the spread of acute respiratory viral infections among the military, with the assistance of the TNMU Volunteer Centre, defenders of the 105th brigade received medicines for colds.

As the air temperature drops, the number of frostbite among military personnel significantly increases. The staff of the Department of Foreign Languages purchased thermal blankets and tourniquets, which were sent to the stabilization centre of the 42nd separate mechanized brigade, whose servicemen are holding back the advance of the enemy in the Donetsk region.

Creating a future in which charity and help are an integral part of life is very important, because this is how our Victory approaches.

The information was provided by Nataliia Hantimurova, Teacher of the Department of Foreign Languages.
