Ternopil State Medical University continues cooperation with Ecuador

Rector of Ternopil State Medical University, Professor Mykhaylo Korda recently met with the president of the Fundacion EuroLatina (Ecuador) Maria Reyes and representative of the company in Ternopil Johanna Arguello.

They discussed the ongoing cooperation to encourage students from Ecuador to come for study at TSMU.

Next year at least 30 students from Ecuador looking to get medical education will arrive to Ternopil. Presently, twelve Ecuadorians are enrolled to Ternopil State Medical University, including three freshmen and nine students of the Preparation Department.

Representatives of EuroLatina noted that TSMU provides high quality of education. The university has created excellent environment for studies, introduced the latest in information technology and engaged highly qualified professors. The university is also affiliated with a number of medical care institutions where the students can perfect their practical skills. Overall, the Ecuadorian students feel very comfortable in Ternopil and are very successful in picking up the Ukrainian language.
