Ternopil State Medical University Graduates of 2016 now study at Ukrainian Military Medical Academy

In 2016 all medical universities of Ukraine opened departments of military medicine. The antiterrorist operation in the east has significantly changed the long-term security policy in Ukraine. In his speech to mark the 25th anniversary of the country’s independence, the President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko said that strong army is a key to security of our country.

This year, 14 graduates of Ternopil State Medical University, after completing a vigorous selection process, started post-graduate studies at the Ukrainian military medical academy. Thus they have committed to a career in the military, serving their country and its people.

We are proud of our graduates Miykhaylo Boyko, Ihor Biychuk,  Mykhaylo Denysiuk, Tetiana Dmytruk, Vitaliy Kozub, Bohdan Kolmykov, Vasyl Myroniuk, Viktor- Ivan Polischuk, Maria Polischuk, Vladyslav Solohub, Volodymyr Fedunets, Taras Yuhymchuk, Chrystyna Yakobchuk, Andriy Pikula.

Two of the graduates of TSMU’s Department of Disaster and Military Medicine, Vitaliy Kozub and Mykhaylo Denysiuk already had an occasion to use their theoretical knowledge and practical skills in the zone of ATO. We are proud of our graduate and wish them to successfully continue their education, and their families wellbeing and peaceful skies.

This year’s UMMA class has the largest number of TSMU graduates in its history. This is an undisputed success of the students and faculty of the Department of Disaster and Military Medicine, as well as the training program for reserve officers.
