Ternopil State Medical University international students become involved in research

Recently TSMU Student Council initiated a workshop for international students to involve them in research. It was aimed to develop scientific capabilities of medical students and improve their professional skills. Partner of the event was TSMU branch of European Medical Students’ Association, which includes students from different countries.

Head of the University’s Student Science Society Katheryna Halei spoke about what steps are needed to  initiate one’s research, how to develop research project and write scientific publications.

She also introduced the work of SSS and explained the importance of research for the future professional activity.

“Our science society is always open to work with you. You can get in touch any time and receive help and advice. We understand the importance of high quality biomedical research for Ternopil State Medical University, so we are ready to foster your research potential “- said Katheryna Halei.

Young researchers also received information about registering to take part in conferences, forums and meetings in Ukraine and abroad.

The main focus at the meeting was on the active involvement of international students in the Congress of Young Scientists soon to be held in TSMU.
