Ternopil State Medical University signed a cooperation agreement with Saskatchewan Polytechnic School of Nursing (Canada)
On June 6, 2016 manager of International Projects at Saskatchewan Polytechnic School of Nursing (Saskatoon, Canada) Reny Loewen met with TSMU rector, Professor Mykhaylo Korda to discuss directions for international cooperation between the two universities.
Reny Loewen told about particular features of nurses’ training in Saskatchewan Polytechnic. The head of TSMU shared the achievements of University in training students in the specialty of Nursing.
The meeting resulted in signing of cooperation agreements between Ternopil State Medical University and Saskatchewan Polytechnic School of Nursing (Saskatoon, Canada) towards the implementation of programs of student academic mobility, and development of joint research projects in the field of nursing.
Two students of the Bachelor’s program at the research institute of nursing and assistant professor of obstetrics and gynecology Natalia Petrenko already visited Saskatchewan Polytechnic School of Nursing as a part of academic mobility program. Students from the Canadian school will arrive in September to study at TSMU clinical facilities.
