In April of this year delegation from our university visited Polish partners, to find out in detail about research and medical work being carried out at the Institute of Rural Medicine. At that point it was then agreed that the scientists of both schools will work on joint projects concerning borreliosis, and nanoparticle toxicities, including their combinations with other xenobiotics, such as pesticides. Particular attention was given to potential collaborative research projects with the Department of Medical Biology to study biological activity of synthetic substances of natural origin on cell cultures, which are planned to implement in our university.
