Ternopil State Medical University student participated in international conference in Georgia
Recently a student of the Medical Faculty of Ternopil State Medical University Bohdana Pereviznyk took part in Eastern Europe FLEX-Ability Workshop 2016, a meeting held annually by the American Councils for International Education. In 2010-2011 Bohdana has participated in FLEX (Future Leaders Exchange) program, during which she studied at Evans High School (Augusta, Georgia, USA). American Councils maintains network of alumni from all of its programs. Each year holds alum events, trainings and workshops to motivate the young people participate in various social initiatives and explore the latest trends in science and technology. This year This year 151 applicants competed for 70 spaces to attend Eastern Europe FLEX-Ability Workshop. The event hosted young poeople from Ukraine, Moldova, Azerbaijan, Georgia and Armenia.
“Two years ago I participated in a similar conference in Kiev. This time the participants met in Kvareli in the Republic of Georgia. The main theme of the conference was to introduce us and develop practical skills in project management. We also talked about the different educational technologies. Everyone was impressed by the possibilities of 3D printing. We discussed how in the future this technology can be applied to biomedical field. These four days in one of the most well-known training centers of Georgia were filled with meetings, lectures and practical workshops. We also had an unforgettable night tour of Tbilisi “- said Bohdana Pereviznyk.
