Ternopil State Medical University students launched a new initiative Let’s Make the Life of Children Happier

On April 3, 2018, domestica and international students of Ternopil State Medical University launched a charity drive Let’s Make the Life of Children Happier. Its main goal is to bring more joyous moments to the lives of children who need our support and assistance.  The students are collecting donations to equip a rehabilitation room at the educational complex №28 for children with language defects, vision impairment and blindness, and developmental disabilities.

On April 3 the students installed donation boxes in all TSMU. Also, the student-volunteers bring the donation box directly to the study halls. Everyone donating even a small amount of money receives a candy as a reminder that every person in the world deserves a bit of happiness. Both staff and student bodies of Ternopil Medical University were very active in supporting the fundraising. In total, nearly 20 thousand hryvnas were collected.

“Our university has a powerful volunteer and caritable movement. It’s nice to see that more and more young people are involved in doing good deeds. I am sincerely grateful to you for your kind hearts and noble initiatives “, – said the rector TSMU, professor Mykhaylo Korda.

The fundraising continues. Donation boxes are placed in every building of the university.
