Ternopil State Medical University will develop joint research projects with Polish colleagues

A delegation of scientists and medical doctors from the Republic of Poland, including vice president of the medical center «Horizon» Andrzej Komor, representative of the Center for biological and chemical sciences of the University of Warsaw, Dr. Zbigniew Rogulski and co-owner of the Innovation Center Global GMP Marek Marchliński on 17 September met with the rector of Ternopil State medical University, professor Mykhaylo Korda to develop cooperation directions. In addition to discussing a number of possible areas for future collaboration, the Polish colleagues presented activities of their institutions, while Dr. Korda told the guests about the University, its achievements, organizational structure, academic process and research areas.

Work has already begun to determine the most pressing medical issues with a view to signing quadripartite agreement with the above companies and institutions. Ternopil State Medical University will cooperate with the Polish counterparts towards implementing joint research in medicine and biology, exchange visits, and development of projects in telecommunication medicine. In addition, questions of the possibility of implementing joint projects within the framework of cross-border cooperation were discussed during the meeting.
