“First of all I want to thank you for the invitation to your university. I am very curious to know more about your activity, because we can carry out many important scientific projects together. What about our center, we have been actively cooperating with universities of Eastern Ukraine for a long time. Basically, we support their new projects or scientific centers. Unfortunately, because of warfare in this region we had to scrap to many projects. Personally, I am interested in toxicology and ecology area, but we have many skilled professionals in other areas, such as emergency medicine. They would also be interested in cooperation with Ternopil Medical University,” Daniel Hryhorczuk said.

Professor Mykhailo Korda, the rector of TSMU, mentioned that the university has six accredited laboratories and well known scientific institutes. That is why the collaboration with the Center for Global Health of the University of Illinois will afford an opportunity to reach a new level and to implement interesting and necessary projects for health preservation of Ukrainian people.

The guest from the USA at the end of the meeting defined three areas which the universities can achieve scientific cooperation in. They are ecology, toxicology and emergency medicine.
