The Professor of TSMU Participated in the Congress of Euro-Asian Association of Dermatovenerologists

On September 18-20 in Riga (Latvia) the Congress of Euro-Asian Association of Dermatovenerologists devoted to topical issues of modern dermatology was held.

The Professor of Ternopil State Medical University Svitlana Halnykina took part in this scientific forum.

Scientists and practitioners from all over the world visited the Congress, but the delegation from Ukraine was the most numerous.

The Ambassador of Ukraine to the Republic of Latvia Yevhen Perebyinis attended the official opening of the congress. He had a warm and sincere conversation with Ukrainian dermatologists. The scientific program of the conference was very interesting, diverse and intense. The reports were on the latest developments and practical aspects of dermatology.

The report of an outstanding scientist from Germany Harald zur Hausen, who received the Nobel Prize in 2008, was the most important part of this scientific event. He expanded on the latest developments of cancer pathogenesis. Everyone listened to him with an absorbed attention. It is a rare and fortunate opportunity to dialog with this person.

The participants from the USA, Germany, the Baltic countries and Ukraine also presented very thorough and comprehensive reports. Ukrainian young scientists introduced clinical cases that were fascinating for the participants of the forum as well.
