The Students of TSMU took part in the UMSA General Assembly

A branch of Ukrainian Medical Students Association (UMSA) has been functioning at Ternopil State Medical University for a long time. Recently, the students of TSMU participated in General Assembly of this organization, which was held at the Bogomolets National Medical University.

 The Chairman of the Ukrainian Medical Students Association Harik Melkumian opened the congress. He summed up the organization activity during the last year.

At the meeting the student leaders of fifteen universities presented their projects. It was decided to carry on the project “Medical Volunteer” and agreed to consolidate efforts and cooperation within a single algorithm for this project.

The managing partner of the Axiline Company, the founder of the project “Upgrade” Andrii Klymenko presented a completely different model of medicine in the modern world “Medicine as a business”. “Responsibility and self-development” and “It’s all about self-development” were chosen as the most important mottoes.
