The Teachers and Students of TSMU Took Part in “Scientific Picnics”

Despite the unfavourable weather, on September 27 at the Theater Square the representatives of Ternopil State Medical University presented medical wisdoms to the children of our city during the event “Scientific picnics”. This is the third experiments presentation in Ternopil. This time, 35 teams desired to show their scientific inventions to the children. There were representatives from Poland and other regions of Ukraine among them. During the day kids saw almost five hundred experiments. This year “Scientific picnics” also took place in Kharkiv, Kyivv, Kryvyi Rih, Dnipropetrovsk, Dubno, Lutsk, Odesa, Vinnytsia.

The Assistant of the Department of Medical Biology Olena Ruzhytska said that their department accentuates the parasitic invasion.

The Head of the Department of Medical Biology Professor Larysa Fedoniuk explained in lay language to Ternopil kids about human development from conception to child bearing in their mother’s womb.

The Mayor Sergii Nadal and the Head of Ternopil Regional State Administration Stepan Barna visited the booth of TSMU. They also listened attentively to students and teachers.

There were a lot of interesting and educational things to see and to participate in. Now we are preparing the next “Scientific Picnics”.
