The TSMU Volunteers and Activists of Maidan and Anti-Terrorist Operation Have Received Awards

Recently, on the occasion of the Ukraine’s Defender Day the physicians who volunteered during the Revolution of Dignity, delivered medical assistance for ATO soldiers and were mobilized for Ukraine defence were awarded. The event was held in Taras Shevchenko Ternopil Regional Academic Ukrainian Drama Theater. The representatives of Ternopil State Medical University were among them. Seven teachers and staff of TSMU were mobilized into the Armed Forces of Ukraine and today discharge civic duty in Eastern Ukraine. TSMU is proud of everyone who took part in confrontations at Maidan and saved lives from the very beginning of hostilities and faithfully followed their vocation for a doctor.

So, Associate Professor of the Department of Children’s Diseases and Pediatric Surgery Tamara Vorontsova, the Associated Professor of the Department of Children’s Diseases and Pediatric Surgery Inha Kubei, the Senior Laboratory Technician of the Department of Clinical Pharmacy Liubov Falendysh, Assistant Professor of the Department of Functional Diagnostics and Clinical Pathophysiology Yevhen Loza, students of the Faculty of Medicine Petro Vitiuk, Andrii Volik, Oleksii Sorokin, Tetiana Rudyk, Iryna Dmytruk, Vitalii Kozub, Mykhailo Boiko, Taras Yatsunskyi, Iryna Tokarchuk and Mykhailo Denysiuk, interns Oleksandr Bashta, Zinovii ​​Hvozdyk, Ivanna Chobaniuk, Serhii Konoval received the awards.

They all are examples of dignity, honor, patriotism and commitment to the profession for the medical community and rising doctors. We are proud of you!
