Theoretical and Training Course for Students and Interns of the Faculty of Dentistry of TNMU
A theoretical and training course on “Implantology” was held at Ternopil National Medical University. The lecturer was Roman Hudyma, a famous dentist-surgeon.
Interns and students of the 3rd, 4th, 5th years of study attended this event.
This allowed presenting the fundamentals of implantology and improving knowledge in dental surgery. During the course, the lecturer covered such topics:
– Ergonomics of the Office for Implantology
– Surgical anatomy of the jaws
– Classic two-stage implantation
– Implantation according to the template for the pilot drill
Also, during the training, each participant consolidated the knowledge gained by installing their first implant according to the classic technique and the template.
