TNMU agreed on cooperation with Marmara University (Turkey)

I. Horbachevsky Ternopil National Medical University Rector, Professor Mykhaylo Korda met with Director of International Relations Department at Marmara University (Istanbul, Turkey), Professor Nuri Tinaz, and his Deputy, Professor Mert Denizci.

The main purpose of the meeting was to discuss possible cooperation between TNMU and Marmara University.

The meeting outlined the implementation of the Erasmus international program, in particular Staff Students Exchange and Capacity Building. The participants of the meeting also discussed the opportunities of Mevlana program.

It was also agreed to sign a memorandum of cooperation.

Marmara University has 83,000 students. Teaching is done in four languages, including English, French, Turkish. The University has a large Health Services Campus for 120,000 beds. Thus, there is an opportunity for internship of teachers and students of our university.

Guests from Marmara University expressed their interest in participating in the dual degree programs.

In Turkey, there is also a scientific council that provides scholarships and technical support to young scientists with PhD degrees and five years of teaching experience for their further research.
