TNMU Community Helps the Armed Forces of Ukraine

Students and teachers of Ternopil National Medical University willingly join various volunteer projects. Second-year students of the Faculty of Medicine Viktoria Lysetska, Anastasia Barysheva, Pavlo Zbyral, Bohdan Pervanchuk dedicated their time to collect donations for the needs of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in exchange for the sweets provided by the charity foundation “Shtab ‘Peremoha'” (“Headquarters ‘Victory'”).

In a short time, the volunteers managed to sell all the sweets. We express our deep appreciation to all the students who not only donated money to the box, but also donated funds directly to the official account of the charity fund in order to help save the lives of our defenders. The participants and activists of the charity fund “Shtab ‘Peremoga'” are teachers of TNMU, in particular, Associate Professors Inna Korda, Andriy Dovbush, Olena Prokopovych, intern doctor Palvo Kruk and a team of future doctors. For two years in a row, they have been stocking first-aid kits for our soldiers. Soon, volunteers will visit other buildings of our university and offer sweets. The amount of the donation does not matter, any help is important!

We express our appreciation to the staff and Head of the Department of Pharmacology and Clinical Pharmacology, Professor Oleksandra Oleshchuk, the staff and Head of the Department of General Hygiene and Ecology, Professor Mykola Kashuba, the staff and Head of the Department of Medical Biochemistry, Associate Professor Svitlana Pidruchna, as well as the second- and third-year students of the Faculty of Medicine and the Faculty of Dentistry.
