TNMU Intern Doctors Participated in Fundraising Event on Ukrainian Women’s Day

On February 25, 2024, in Buchach, intern doctors studying at TNMU Department of Psychiatry, Medical Psychology and Narcology took part in a charity event for Ukrainian Women’s Day. The purpose of the event was to raise funds for the rehabilitation of a soldier who defended our country.

Dozens of women had the opportunity to listen to useful lectures and workshops from specialists in various fields. Intern psychiatrists Anastasia Lysa and Viktoria Drahan gave a lecture on the topic “Overcoming psychological difficulties in the conditions of war” and performed psychotherapeutic techniques. Using metaphorical associative maps, the participants of the event had the opportunity to analyse their mental state and find rational ways to solve personal problems.

The speakers of the event were also a beautician, an obstetrician-gynaecologist, and the priest of the Buchach monastery.

All funds were donated to the treatment of the soldier Pavlo Bybel.
