TNMU Professor was honored with an award at the Congress of Pediatricians of Ukraine

On October 8-10, 2019, the 14th Congress of Pediatricians of Ukraine “Actual problems of pediatrics” was held in Kyiv. The event was opened by the President of the Association of Pediatricians of Ukraine, Academician of the National Pediatric Academy of Ukraine Yurii Antypkin.

The Congress was chaired by Olena Zelenska, the wife of the President of Ukraine, Zoriana Skaletska, Minister of Health of Ukraine, Mykhailo Radutskyi, Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Committee, Vitalii Tsymbaliuk, Academician of the National Academy of Medical Sciences of Ukraine, Vitalii Maidannyk, President of the National Academy of Medical Sciences of Ukraine .

During the Congress, pediatricians of Ukraine were honored, who have been dedicated to the field of medicine for a long time and have been working hard to preserve the health of children, received awards.

The award was also received by the Head of Pediatrics Department of the Institute of Postgraduate Education of I. Horbachevsky Ternopil National Medical University, Honored Scientist of Ukraine, Professor Nataliia Banadyha. For her significant personal contribution to the development of pediatric medicine and high professionalism, she was presented with an honorary diploma by the Association of Pediatricians of Ukraine.

The Congress was attended by more than 1300 specialists of various fields, pediatric pulmonology, allergy, gastroenterology and nutrition, nephrology, vegetology, medical psychology and psychosomatics from different regions of Ukraine. Such a Congress is always a good opportunity for communication of experts, discussion of plans for the future, exchange of experience.

The participants of the event discussed and adopted the resolution, the main purpose of which is to improve the health care of children of Ukraine in order to preserve their health and improve the quality of life.
