TNMU Received Two Modern Devices for Scientific Research

Scientific research using PCR analysers has been carried out at TNMU for a long time. This method became especially relevant during the SARS-CoV-2 pandemic, as it makes it possible to identify pathogens with a high degree of probability. In addition, we use the PCR method to diagnose other viral and bacterial infections, including Lyme disease and other transmissible infections transmitted through tick bites, in the study of which our university is a leader in Ukraine. Therefore, university researchers need modern equipment to conduct these studies. Thanks to the mediation of the Ternopil-Zboriv Diocese of the UGCC, TNMU received two modern QIAstat-Dx Analyzers from the COSTA CROCIERE FOUNDATION worth more than 2 million hryvnias, which will help our scientists in conducting research at a higher level.

QIAstat-Dx Analyzer is an intelligent system for rapid analysis of biological samples. The device is controlled through a touch screen, which provides a simple and intuitive interaction for users. The product was developed using a holistic, user-centred UX design process.

These are next-generation syndromic analysis tools that help reduce diagnostic uncertainty and improve clinical decision-making by providing more accurate, comprehensive, and actionable solutions for real-time decision-making.

We thank our supporters for such a valuable gift.
