TNMU Simulation Training Centre Received Manikins from Hanover Supporters

Recently, the Laerdal Resusci Junior QCPR manikin with RJ QCPR Airway Head Upgrade Kit was donated to the Centre for Medical Simulation of Ternopil National Medical University by our friends from Hanover, Dr. Martin Schott and Dr. Dirk Hahne.

A bit of humour: the family of TNMU manikins welcomes a boy named Martin.

Dr. Martin Schott and Dirk Hahne founded the charity organisation Medizinische Hilfe fiir die Ukraine (https://www.betterplace.org/en/projects/128009-medical-aid-for-ukraine) and on a permanent basis help hospitals in Lviv, Kyiv and organizations in Mykolaiv. TNMU has repeatedly received consumables and medical supplies from them for the Centre for Medical Simulation and the Mama Natalie and Neo Natalie manikins.

The gift is extremely valuable for us and will help to provide high-quality training in practical skills for medical students, paramedics and advanced courses participants. Carrying out resuscitation measures for children is a skill that future medical specialists need in their professional activities. The ability to perform cardiopulmonary resuscitation, to intubate a child will give an opportunity to increase the chances of survival in the critical minutes of resuscitation of the child.
