TNMU Student Presented Her Research at a Medical Conference in Lublin

Anna-Maria Koval, a fifth-year student of the Faculty of Medicine, presented the scientific study “Psychiatrist outcomes in patients with neurotic mental disorders in the post-COVID-19 period” at the scientific congress “Lublin International Medical Congress”, which took place on November 17-19, 2022 and was conducted in Lublin Medical University. The official language of the Congress was English.


In total, 204 participants from 24 countries took part in this event. A number of scientific sections worked within the congress. Students and interns presented their research findings, and also took part in practical workshops.


Anna-Maria Koval reported in the section “Psychiatry: Original Research” and won 3rd prize. Academic supervisor of the research is Professor, Head of the Department of Psychiatry, Narcology and Medical Psychology Olena Wenger. The co-author of the study is Mykola Shved, a student of the Faculty of Medicine.


She also took part in workshops on laparoscopy, reconstructive and plastic surgery in gynaecology, ultrasound diagnostics.
