TNMU Student Teaches English to Ternopil Residents

Discussion club with Umer Salam takes place every Sunday at 14.00 in Ternopil Regional Library for Youth. During the classes everyone has the opportunity to practice English speaking.

Umer Salam is a student of I. Horbachevsky Ternopil National Medical University, who came from India to study medicine. The guy personally took the initiative to share his knowledge with the people of our city. Umer came to the library and offered his services. He teaches English to Ternopil residents for free, who have knowledge of intermediate and upper intermediate levels. As a rule, these are high school pupils, students and adults.

The discussion club is a part of the project “Window to America for Future Leaders” (Ternopil, 29, Nechai Street,), which is implemented at Ternopil Regional Library for Youth.

To join the discussion club you need to have a library reader’s ticket for 2021, which costs 30 UAH / year, and a Covid-certificate (for 18-year olds).
