TNMU Students Delivered Instructive Lecture for Ternopil Schoolchildren

On March 6, 2024, students of Ternopil National Medical University, Nadia Stratiuk (MM-316) and Valeria Kuzmych (MM-316) gave a lecture on the topic “Peculiarities of pre-medical care in war conditions” for the eighth-grade students of Ternopil secondary school No. 13.

The students told the schoolchildren about the concept of “pre-medical care”, methods of determining the condition of the victim in an emergency situation and the algorithm for providing assistance.

A large part of the lesson was devoted to how to properly provide emergency aid in wartime. In particular, the lecturers emphasized what types of bleeding there are, why it is necessary to stop bleeding in time, and how to do it correctly.

During the lecture, the students listened attentively, from time to time they asked questions that interested them. This lecture was useful and interesting for them, because emergency aid in wartime is relevant both among children and adults.

The information was provided by Nadia Stratiuk.
