TNMU students from India familiarized Ternopil pupils with Indian culture

On February 18, 2020, a lesson under the title “India. Lotus Dew” was conducted in Ivan Franko Ternopil Ukrainian Gymnasium. It presented an interesting communication between gymnasium and medical students from India. This lesson provided an opportunity for Ternopil pupil to learn more about the cultural heritage, historical past and present of India. Students debunked the myths about the life of modern India, told about the role of historical personalities in the modern prosperity of India, familiarized with traditional dances and Hindi.

Nalini Tiwari, Aditya Pandey, Mayank Goyal, Prateek Lodha, Raj Bhatt and Humera presented the exquisite dance and entertaining communication with the pupils.

   

The following topics were discussed with gymnasium students: “India Visiting Card”, “What is a Caste? How do they affect the development of the Indian population?”,” What are the current conflicts hampering the development of India and in which states? Causes of Conflict”, “India’s Growth Corridors: Calcutta, Mumbai, Chennai and Delhi”, “Which industries determine the international specialization of the country”, “What professions are the most popular in India?”, “Which states are the richest in India? What led to their development?”, “What means of transport are mostly used in India?”, “Why is Bangalore called “a silicone plateau”?”.
