TNMU Students Gave Lecture on Prevention of Food Poisoning for Ternopil Schoolchildren

On March 4, 2024, students of Ternopil National Medical University Anastasia Sloboda (MM-515) and Olha Svoboda (MM-512) gave a lecture for the 6th-grade students of primary school No. 18 on the topic “Prevention of food poisoning”.

Students told the schoolchildren about types of food poisoning, their causes and main clinical symptoms. Much attention was focused on such diseases as botulism, salmonellosis, mushroom poisoning. The issues of treatment and prevention of food poisoning, the technique of providing first aid were also discussed.

Students systematized their knowledge about food safety, which is an integral part of a healthy lifestyle.
